Specific to Minority Students in Maharashtra
Post Matric Scholarship: Details
For all students post (10th Standard) i.e from 11th to Phd including ITI, Diploma, MCVC, D.ED, B.ED, M.ED etc
Important Note:
· Should be a resident of Maharashtra
· Should have secured atleast 50% in last year’s exams
· Applicant shouldn’t be receipent of any other Scholarship / Stipend
· Family Income shouldn’t exceed Rs. 2.00 Lacs
· Only 2 Applicants per family are allowed
· For renewal students should have secured admission in next year
· 30% Scholarship is earmarked for Girl Students
· Any candidate submitting wrong information or violating any condition then scholarship shall stand cancelled and amount recovered
· Students should open an Account in his own name at nearest SBI Branch of any Nationalized Bank.SBI has a facility for Zero Balance account specially for students.
· If candidate doesn’t submits required documents or doesn’t send application through Principal of said institute the application will be considered invalid & rejected.
Documents with application
1. Passport Size Photo
2. Attested Copies of marksheet from 10th standard onwards
3. Residential Address Proof
4. Declaration of Family Income & Belonging to Minority community as annexure with Revenue Stamp
5. Copy of Bank Passbook 1st page which has Name, Address, Account Number and photograph of student
How to apply:
1. Visit www.dhepune.gov.in/scholarship create user id & password and fill in details online.
2. Click Here to download User Manual for online application
3. After completion take print, attach all relevant documents and submit to Institute
4. Students are advised to take printout of sample form, fill in form before entering details online to avoid error.

Important Dates:
1. Online Submission of application 11th August 2011 to 15th September 2011
2. Online approval by institute 11th August 2011 to 15th September 2011
3. Submission of original verified application by Institute to Regional Directorate of Higher Education 29th August to 3rd September
4. Provisional merit displayed on website 8th September 2011 (Old date will be revised)
5. Complaints if any on provisional merit list by Fax on 020-26111153 upto 9th September 2011 (Old date will be revised)
6. Final Merit List 11th September 2011 (Old date will be revised)
