MEDIA - WATCH
Media today is playing an active role in our day-to-day life's. With the advent of satellite TV Channels and no proper mechanism to keep an eye over them it becomes important for us to keep a close tab on various activities related to Sikh Panth being reported in media.
We don't aim to play role of CENSOR or WATCHDOG, but at the same time we would like to clearly state that anything false or incorrect about our Guru Sahib's, Sikh Martyr's (Shahid's), Sikh Institutions and Sikh Community in general will not be taken in lighter vein, and we shall leave no stone unturned, to report the same to appellate authorities to book guilty under appropriate rule of law.

Gurmat Study Team actively appealed on behalf various SIKH organization's &
especially SIKH MEDIA Watch (Mumbai) to mobilize the community to appeal to STAR
TV regarding the particular episode of above serial in which derogatory &
offensive remarks were made against SIKH Community. Please click on the links to

2) Complaint to Hutch
on above issue.
Gurmat Study Team pro-actively complained to Planet Hutch (Hutchison Essar) to
block the contents of above episode available for downloads on their portal, to

We at Gurmat Study earnestly request you all to keep close tab on media and inform us of anything that you find offensive or not according to basic Sikh Tenets being shown/printed and we shall take it further.
